この page は、MS の Bluetooth への取り組みについて纏めています。
- Longhorn
WinHEC 2004 で公開された追加される予定の profile は以下の通り。

- GN(Group ad-hoc Network)
- SDT(Secure Digital transport)
- オーディオ関連機能
- Wake-on-Bluetooth

- Windows XP SP2
Windows XP SP2 では標準で Bluetooth profile が組み込まれます。
追加された Profile は以下の通り。
- PANU(Personal Area Network User)
PANU は PAN の一種。2台の Bluetooth 機器同士が直接通信するためのものらしい。
- OPP(Object Push Profile)
- 仮想COMポート

- Windows XP SP1 + MS Patch
XP SP1 に組み込まれる予定でしたが時間切れ。
'03/02 に発売された Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse には Microsoft 社製 Driver
が付属しているようですが、現在の所、Windows Update 経由での入手は出来ないようです。今の所、PAN(Personal
Area Network) はサポート外とのこと。MS としては自社製の同期技術である「ActiveSync」を使用して欲しいんだとか。M$
らしいや。
サポートされている Profile は以下の通り。
- HID(Human Interface Device)
- DUN(Dial-Up Networking)
- HCRP(Hardcopy Cable Replacement Printing)

- Windows CE
Windows CE .NET では標準で Bluetooth stack driver が組み込まれています。Pocket
PC 2002 にも stack driver は用意されている模様。
- Bluetooth キーボード＆マウス
'03/02 現在、Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse を出荷しています。

Windows XP SP2
Windows XP SP2 には、Bluetooth driver 群が標準で付属されました。今後、MS
の標準ドライバに合わせた製品の出荷を期待しています。
